This DVD video supplements
the users manual to help you learn quickly and easily how to use the Firestore
FS-100 DTE (Firmware Version 4.0) unit's menus with Panasonic's P2 cameras. It
applies to both the 100GB and 160GB models. Using an HVX200 as an example, the
Quick Start will get you recording HD footage with your Fire store FS100 and
Panasonic HVX200 right away. Then delve deeper into the unit's more advanced
features such as time lapse settings not available on the HVX by itself, single
frame "snap", the 3 pre-record buffers, variable frame rates, Native modes,
choosing P2, OMF, AVI, QuickTime or any of the other available file formats,
organizing takes into Reels, play back, using 2 units together, and much more.
Every menu function of the FS-100, plus rigging samples, are shown using version
4.0 of the firmware. This makes a good combination with the P2/FCP freebie
available at bbalser.com!
